PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Containers specially used for storing chemicals are known as chemical storage tanks. Chemical storage tanks can be manufactured from a variety of materials, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. When selecting a chemical storage tank, compatibility with the stored chemicals shall be the primary consideration. Chemicals must be safely stored inside the tank without leakage.

In the design, manufacture and inspection of storage tanks, the Pressure Vessel Standard (ASME Section VIII) and the Standard for Steel-Welded Atmospheric Pressure Vessels (NB/T 47003.1-2009) must be followed. In addition, all GMP certification requirements shall be satisfied.

Storage tanks are generally vertical circular vessels, with standard elliptical or spherical top heads, and standard conical, spherical or elliptical bottom heads. The inner wall of the tank transition section adopts circular-arc transition with no dead corners for easy cleaning. Tanks are available in single-layer, double-layer (thermal-insulation layer fitted on tank body and bottom head) or jacket-type (jacket fitted on tank body and bottom head) constructions. Tanks are normally vertical or horizontal, and can also be made square or circular upon customer request. Mechanical stirring devices can be equipped as an option.

Optional Tank Configurations

Optional tank configurations include: Sterile air filter, thermometer (digital or pointer display), pressure gauge, sight glass, sanitary manhole, inlet port, universal rotating CIP cleaning ball, liquid meter, etc. Customization is also available per customer requirements.

Custom configurations such as CIP Cleaning System, stirring device, heating-cooling jacket, pressure gauge and sight glass can be equipped according to different working media and site conditions.

We have existing specifications of 500 L and 500 L. Design and customization are available according to customer requirements.

• Insulation material is either rock wool (for heat preservation) or polyurethane (for heat dissipation). 

• Tri-clamp connections; SS304 or SS316L inner tank with mirror-polished inner surface; outer surface with polished or brushed finish, Ra 0.28 μm to 0.6 μm.

 Sandblasting treatment can be performed as per customer requirements.
